The idea to form a farmer producer company (IBFPC) is initiated by a group of vibrant and young aquaculture farmers scattered in various districts of the state who are actively engaged in Biofloc farming of Tilapia fish. The group consists of around 50 farmers who will be the primary members of the proposed FPC, however the major aim is to bring down the potential Biofloc farmers of the state under a single umbrella and to strengthen them to meet the challenges they may face during different stages of farming from pond preparation to marketing of high quality, tasty and nutritionally rich fish and fish products. The proposed company (IBFPC) will gradually reach out to biofloc farmers of every district of the state to become shareholders of the company and open branches throughout the state.

The Proposed organization has a plan to serve the aqua culturists in all the areas related to any kind of fish farming programs like extensive, semi-intensive, inten sive or super intensive kind of cultivation where they may be exploited by business mediators or other business magnets. Organization may act as a reachable platform for the farmers from there they will get any kind of assistance linked with pisciculture in the form of technology dissemination, providing aqua culture consumables, fish seeds, feeds at better prices.
